In this context, end-of-line automation, robotic palletizing and automated intralogistics assume a central role in process optimization. <\/p>\n\n

To meet these needs, Verwerkaf Kaffee<\/strong><\/a>, a company specializing in decaffeination and coffee packaging based in Noceto, in the province of Parma, has chosen Ercopac <\/strong>and Tecnoferrari <\/a><\/strong>for the realization of a complete palletizing plant<\/a><\/strong> and automated internal logistics<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

The developed solution covers all operational stages from palletizing <\/strong>to warehouse storage<\/strong>, integrating advanced robotics<\/strong> and AGV shuttles<\/strong> to ensure maximum efficiency and operational flexibility.<\/p>\n\n

In the coffee industry, the end of the line is increasingly strategic<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

In the coffee industry<\/strong>, end-of-line management directly affects plant productivity<\/strong> and continuity of operations<\/strong>. When volumes increase and packaging formats multiply, it becomes essential to adopt solutions that can automate palletizing and internal handling in a coordinated manner. <\/p>\n\n

The project created for Verwerkaf Kaffee<\/strong> was born from this very need: to integrate end-of-line<\/strong> and intralogistics into a single automated system<\/strong> capable of accompanying the product all the way to the warehouse<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

Two robotic palletizing islands for five production lines<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

At the heart of the plant<\/strong> are two robotic row palletizing systems<\/strong> designed to handle a total of five production lines.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

This configuration allows the end of the line to be automated in a structured way and to meet the different operational needs of the plant.<\/p>\n\n

From handling<\/strong> empty <\/strong> pallets<\/strong> to transporting finished pallets<\/strong> to the warehouse, the system <\/strong>was developed <\/strong>to ensure business continuity<\/strong> and fully automated management of internal logistics flows<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

First palletizing island: boxes and trays<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

The first palletizing island is equipped with a multi-socket gripper<\/strong> and integrates a dedicated robot for automatic preparation and filling of trays<\/strong> via suction table.<\/p>\n\n

This means that the line not only receives product ready for palletizing, but also handles a preparatory step<\/strong> that would normally require a separate step. This reduces manual activities<\/strong>, standardizes preparation<\/strong> and keeps cell feeding more regular.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n
