Overview
By adding the layer pad grip and pallet grip kits we are able to palletize any type of product up to a rate of 3-4 layers/min, eliminating pallets stacker and layer pad applicators.
This makes the system much more accessible for any cleaning and maintenance operations and it drastically reduces mechanical components, resulting in low maintenance costs.
This system is much more ergonomic and flexible in the layout composition.
On medium/high speeds we have the same advantages, with the addition of the pallets stacker or the layer pad applicator. In this case the robot can reach 5-6 layers/min.
On high speeds, another serving robot is added, with a layer pad gripper that only handles the layer pad application, allowing to reach 9-10 layers/min.
Our motorized grippers
The universal fork gripper is a new solution with n.3 motorizations to manage grippers’ movements.
N. 1 Motorization for opening and closing of the fork gripper operated as an additional axis by the robot controller.
N. 2 Motorizations for controlling side walls closing for product squaring managed as two additional axes by the robot controller.
The layer handled through the fork gripper ensures products handling with quality, ergonomics and safety to prevent the fall of the products.
The fork gripper can handle all kinds of products and palletize on industrial pallets, EURO, halves and quarters.
