December 12, 2023 ERCOPAC Comments Off
At the heart of this interview, Regis stressed the importance of teamwork. For him, Ercopac is more than a workplace; it is a team in which communication and collaboration are the pillars of success.

Q: Tell me about your role in the company. What are your main responsibilities?

A: I am the head of the French branch and my role is to manage customers at 360°, which includes: introducing our solutions to new customers, finding the most suitable solution for each customer with the help of my colleagues, and ensuring customer satisfaction in collaboration with my after-sales colleagues. Of course, I also have to carry out all the administrative paperwork for the French State and the French accounting service.

Q: What is your favorite work-related aspect in this company?

A: I love explaining to people the advantages of the various solutions that we offer, being on the field and confronting the difficulties encountered by customers in order to offer them solutions. I also really like the team management part and working in a team.

Q: What do you value most in your corporate culture and work environment?

A: I like the family culture of the team, in fact I prefer working in small teams where everyone is involved and exchanges are easier, despite having had the opportunity to work in very large companies. I strongly believe that success can only be achieved by a united team.

Q: What do you think is the most exciting aspect of our industry or the work we do as a company?

A: The world of packaging is a universe that always changes, but it is experiencing a revolution especially today. This is an incentive for us to always find new ideas, and for a company like ours it represents an important driving force towards continuous improvement.

Q: What hobbies or interests do you have outside of work? How do they fit into your professional life?

A: I have several passions outside of work, for example I am a fan of artificial intelligence and practice aeromodelling. I also like to create videos with the drone and experiment with video editing software. I can also define myself as a patient mechanic for cars and motorcycles on weekends.

Q: Are there any personal or professional values that you consider particularly important in your career? How do they align with company values?

A: For me the most important value is teamwork, because a victory can only be collective. That is why I consider honesty a very important value, and communication a fundamental aspect of my work. I think there is no room for doubt or hypocrisy in achieving goals.

Q: Is there a specific achievement or success in your career that you are particularly proud of?

A: I have many milestones that I am proud of, but my latest success was to restore confidence to a sales team, and this led to the sale of a very good system to an important customer. What makes me most proud is that we managed to make a good impression, and it was a collective victory.

Q: What advice do you have for those interested in pursuing a career in your industry or within our company?

A: To anyone who wants to pursue a career in our industry, I would recommend to be curious about everything, and to always take risks. I firmly believe that failures are attempts, and opportunities to gain experience. I would recommend that one always remains humble, because sometimes we tend to think that nothing would be done without us, when actually nothing would be done without a united team. Knowledge has value only if shared.

Q: Is there anything else you would like to share with our audience about your role, your experiences or the company in general?

A: Our company offers a real opportunity because it is made up of people with great experience. For this reason, we have a lot to offer to our customers, but also to the youngest who join us and who have the opportunity to continue to widen their experience.
