Robotic row palletizer for single or multiple gripping

LINX

Robotic row palletizing system with motorized grippers featuring single or multiple grips

Designed for the flexible handling of diverse products and variable formats.

Operational Efficiency

24/7, 365 days a year with only one annual shutdown for routine maintenance. Complete elimination of pneumatic components: fewer parts, lower consumption, lower costs.

Grip Control

Motorized grippers with precise opening and closing tailored to the product and pallet. No product deformation even at high production speeds.

Reliability

Robot MTBF up to 80,000 hours. Low maintenance costs thanks to the reduction of mechanical components and the elimination of the pneumatic system.

Flexibility

Dedicated grippers for drums, crates, and other special formats. Management of multi-SKUs and custom pallet patterns.

What does LYNX do

01

Configurations

LYNX is Ercopac’s robotic palletizer for single- or multi-pick palletizing.

02

Flexibility

Unlike layer-based systems such as DRAGONFLY, LYNX handles individual packages or groups of packages using dynamic and adaptable patterns: it is the ideal solution when maximum operational flexibility is required for managing heterogeneous products, variable formats, and non-standard pallet configurations.

03

Operations

Thanks to the use of the robot, LYNX operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, all year round, with only one annual shutdown for routine maintenance.

04

Saving

The complete elimination of pneumatic components reduces the number of mechanical parts, lowers maintenance costs, and reduces air consumption compared to traditional systems.

Motorized grippers and grip control

The LYNX system uses single- and multi-grip motorized grippers that ensure precise opening and closing of the sides based on the dimensions of the products and pallets, without deforming the products even at high production speeds.

One of the side rails is equipped with a comb to support the product without applying excessive pressure. The bar with toothed projections mounted on one of the two side rails ensures complete reliability of grip during handling. The side rails can be positioned according to the product’s dimensions, increasing handling speed.

Advantages of the LYNX palletizing robot

The system’s main strengths:

Lower air consumption

thanks to the use of robots

Repeatability

precise and consistent movements
over time

Low maintenance costs

reduced number of components, no pneumatic parts

Flexible operation

multi-SKU, complex pallet patterns, format changes without manual reconfiguration

Grippers Available for Special Applications

Jugs Gripper

For PET bottles palletizing with automatic placement of cardboard interlayers between layers. Key features: efficiency, customization, safety.

ercopac_dragonfly_tubi

Tubes Gripper

For palletizing empty glass bottles. A strapping machine inserts an elastic band around the layer for stable handling. Key values: speed, product quality, versatility.

Bells Gripper

For 5L bottles, up to 4,800 bottles/hour. Key values: flexibility, efficiency, cost.

Boxes Gripper

Independent pads to secure crates even when they are deformed after intense production cycles. Key values: precision, reliability, reduced downtime.

Custom motorized grippers developed for specific applications involving half-pallets and other special formats are also available.

Handleable pallet types, products, and packaging

LYNX handles the main pallet types:

  • Half pallet 600×800×150 mm
  • Euro pallet 800×1200×150 mm
  • Industrial pallet 1000×1200×150 mm
  • CHEP – GMA 40″×48″×4,75″

The system handles bottles, cartons, cans, boxes, and other product types, packaged in cartons, bundles, bags, trays, and other packaging compatible with the system configuration.

OPTIONS

Available options

LYNX can be configured with:

  • Interlayer stacker
  • Pallet feeding stacker
  • Bottom sheet on pallet
  • Top sheet on pallet
  • Dual conveyor for package rotation
  • High-level package infeed

When to choose LYNX

When handling high product variability (multi-SKU)

Ideal for lines with different formats, frequent changes, and non-homogeneous batches. LYNX adapts dynamically without requiring manual reconfiguration between products.

When you need maximum flexibility in pallet patterns

Perfect for complex, customized, or non-standard configurations. The positioning logic is configurable to adapt to any required pallet pattern.

When you want to reduce changeover times

Robotic control eliminates manual reconfigurations and ensures uninterrupted production. Just one annual shutdown for routine maintenance, 24/7.

When you operate with intermittent or multiple production flows

Thanks to multi-line control supporting up to 3 simultaneous inputs, LYNX allows you to work on multiple production flows in parallel, optimizing the plant’s overall productivity.
