Every three years, Düsseldorf becomes the center of the world for those involved in packaging and industrial automation. Interpack is this: the world’s largest trade fair for the industry, with more than 2,800 exhibitors from 67 countries and a unique ability to take a snapshot of the state of the industry and the direction in which it is going. From May 7-13, 2026, in Hall 6 Booth C02, Ercopac was there.
Not as an extra. As one of the most talked about protagonists of the edition.
The changing market: the end of the line as an ecosystem
The dominant theme of Interpack 2026 was not a single product or a single technology. It was a paradigm shift: companies are no longer looking for machines. They look for systems. They look for suppliers capable of taking on a complex problem-from secondary packaging to truck loading-and solving it with a single vision, a single software, a single point of contact.
In an environment where a shortage of skilled workers is pushing toward hard automation, and where regulatory pressure on sustainability is forcing increasingly conscious technological choices, the market rewards those who can remove complexity instead of adding to it. Those who come to the show with a simple answer to a complex problem.
Ercopac arrived at Interpack 2026 with exactly this answer.
The end of the line is no longer seen as a collection of separate machines, but as an intelligent, connected and flexible ecosystem.

A young company in a trade show of great
Ercopac was founded in 2022 by a team with 20 years’ experience in the industry. In three years it has opened branches in 8 countries, closed 2025 with a turnover of 17 million euros and built a complete range of end-of-line solutions: depalletizers, palletizers, wrappers, metti-top systems, robotic labelers and pallet control. Not a startup in the classic sense of the word. A company that chose to grow fast because it had something concrete to say to the market.
At Interpack that concreteness was visible. The booth immediately conveyed the idea of a company capable of offering a complete system-not individual machines, but a fully automated, connected and managed production flow in an integrated way. Visitors sensed this immediately, and from that perception came in-depth technical conversations about the integration of the entire production and logistics flow.
Many of the themes that emerged concerned in particular the AGV and LGV solutions of TecnoFerrari, Ercopac’s strategic partner for intralogistics: the connection with MES systems , ERP and 4.0 monitoring platforms, the possibility of managing the entire internal flow through a single software. Themes that confirm how today end-of-line and logistics technology cannot be thought of separately.
The most significant confirmation came when not only end customers, but also competitors, integrators, and international partners began to stop by the booth. When those in the industry stop to ask detailed technical questions, it means you are doing something worth looking at.
What’s new: three previews that sparked conversation
Ercopac presented three new products at Interpack 2026 that generated attention and level technical questions.
SPIDER-R Super High Speed: the new robotic wrapper with a 6-axis anthropomorphic robot reaches 240 half pallets/hour, positioning it as the fastest wrapper available on the market. Visitors did not stop at the speed figure alone: the most frequently asked questions concerned the management of load stability at high cadences, compatibility with recycled film, and the operation of the automatic head change in 25 seconds without production stoppages. Technical details that tell of a mature market that knows what to ask for.
OCTOPUS Delta: delta robot for layer preparation developed with Zodiac Robotics surprised with a feature that few expected: the ability to handle wrist loads from 30 to 70 kg while maintaining up to 50 cycles per minute. High speed and high load capacity in the same system are two goals normally incompatible in traditional robots. The gantry design, which completely frees up the work space on the ground, also generated interest in applications in the most complex layouts. Technical questions have focused on kinematics, repeatability, and vibration management at high accelerations.
The new PLT F60 shrinkwrapper: presented in video preview, expands Ercopac’s range for secondary packaging and further completes the integrated end-of-line proposition.
Ercopac and TecnoFerrari: one partner for the whole flow
The presence at the fair together with TecnoFerrari was not just a matter of exhibition space. It visually represented the most important message Ercopac was bringing to Interpack: end-of-line robotics and intralogistics talking through a single software, managed by a single supplier, without the integration problems typical of those who have to coordinate different technologies and interlocutors.
This synergy has been perceived in a very positive way. The market is looking for exactly that: less complexity in supplier management, more shared responsibility for results, a global vision of the plant that is not lost in the boundaries between one system and another. The collaboration with TecnoFerrari allows Ercopac to respond to this need in a concrete way, covering the entire span from secondary packaging to truck loading.
What remains after Interpack
A trade show like Interpack is not just a trade event. It is an observatory. And what Ercopac brings home from the 2026 edition is a confirmation and a direction.
Confirmation: the path taken (continuous innovation, technology integration, customer proximity, targeted patents on real bottlenecks) is the right one to compete internationally, even from a young entity.
The direction: to increasingly communicate concrete customer benefits-continuous production, sustainability, operational simplicity, data collection, cost reduction-and not just the technical performance of the machines. Because in the end of the line of the future, what matters is not the speed of a single machine. It is the ability of the entire system to never stop.
