In just over three years, Ercopac has grown from an industrial startup founded by three packaging professionals into an international group with offices in eight countries, over 60 employees, and a new 8,300-square-meter production facility in Fiorano Modenese. The new facility is not a starting point—it is the result of a journey.

The Origins of Ercopac

Ercopac was founded in late 2022 by a team with over twenty years of experience in the end-of-line automation sector. The idea behind the project was simple yet ambitious: to create a company capable of combining the reliability and know-how gained in the field with a more dynamic, innovative approach that is closely attuned to customers’ real needs.

The starting point was a thorough analysis of the market: companies were not just looking for high-performance machines, but for partners capable of understanding production processes as a whole, offering customized solutions, quick response times, and a high level of service. This led to the decision to differentiate ourselves by focusing strongly on robotics, the development of proprietary technologies, design flexibility, and building long-term relationships with customers.

This growth was made possible by a combination of factors: ongoing investment in innovation, expansion of the product line, development of proprietary patents, the opening of international branches, and the ability to attract skilled and motivated individuals. Highly experienced professionals have worked side by side with young talent, creating an environment where expertise, enthusiasm, and a desire to improve coexist every day.

Expertise, performance, innovation, and a customer-focused approach: these values guided the founding of Ercopac and continue to shape its vision.

The Story in Numbers

Three and a half years of growth, step by step:

2023: 35 employees, branches opened in France and Spain, revenue of 4 million euros.

2024: 45 employees, a new branch in Mexico, revenue of 13 million euros.

2025: 60 employees, revenue of 17.5 million euros. A partnership with TecnoFerrari for intralogistics is established, along with the OCTOPUS delta robot in collaboration with Zodiac Robotics.

2026: TecnoFerrari acquires a stake in the company. A group with over 90 million in revenue and 300 employees is formed. New headquarters in Fiorano Modenese. Branches in 8 countries.

Three and a half years: a review

Ercopac’s growth is reflected not only in the numbers, but also in the projects it has completed—projects that three years ago would have seemed out of reach but are now business as usual.

Fonti Alta Valle Po: a fully automated end-of-line system—the most automated in Europe. This project demonstrates Ercopac’s ability to tackle installations of great technological complexity.

GCP Mexico: 10 complete palletizing and stretch-wrapping lines delivered overseas. This is concrete proof of a company structure capable of managing large international orders.

Capès Dolé and Trevalli Cooperlat: long-term supply agreements with leading industrial groups. Not just a contract, but a relationship: a sign that Ercopac has become a reliable, long-term partner for the automation of entire production facilities.

Despite its rapid expansion, Ercopac has remained true to the values that guided its founding. Its stated goal is to become an international leader in end-of-line and intralogistics, developing solutions that are increasingly integrated, sustainable, and connected.

The new headquarters: 8,300 square meters to support further growth

The facility in Fiorano Modenese has 6,300 square meters of production space and 2,000 square meters of office space. Previously, Ercopac was spread across multiple facilities. Today, everything—offices, production, and warehouse—is housed in a single facility: a more organized structure that allows the company to manage multiple projects simultaneously, deliver more quickly, and take on more ambitious and complex orders.

For customers and partners who visit Ercopac, the difference is immediately apparent: a more impressive image, a more modern space, and the feeling of being welcomed by a company that has truly reached industrial scale.

Why Fiorano Modenese?

Fiorano Modenese was not chosen at random. It is the hometown of TecnoFerrari, founded in 1966, which is now a strategic partner and shareholder of Ercopac. It is located just a few kilometers from Maranello, in the heart of the Emilian industrial district that has built its reputation on manufacturing and technological excellence.

The new headquarters is the former TecnoFerrari facility. Ercopac has moved into the space that TecnoFerrari vacated as it expanded: a transition that is both symbolic and practical. The two companies, now united through a capital merger, aim to be perceived as a single group, capable of covering the entire production and logistics process with a single software solution and a single point of contact. The partnership with PLT of Collecchio rounds out the picture by adding solutions for secondary packaging.

The group’s stated goal is to reach 150 million euros over the next five years, with widespread commercial expansion around the world.
